Sport & Social Levels of Play

levels of play

PLAYNOLA offers levels of play for every athlete, recreational and competitive. We have different levels so there is something for everyone. If you're not sure what level you are - read the description and guess. If you guess low - you'll be a star. If you guess high - you'll have to improve your game a little.

Super Social/Recreation - The recreational level is geared towards participants that are just looking to have fun. This is the most basic level that PLAYNOLA offers. You can think of it as the "beginners" level. Participants that play at this level are out to enjoy themselves and not out for the sheer competition of the sport. Most players have not played on an organized team before or have only played for a couple of seasons. This is a great level for beginning teams to start and a great way to begin your team's dynasty. This is geared toward teams who do not care what the outcome of the game is as long as they have fun. There should be no complaining about calls and good times had by all. Referees will be volunteers or individuals from teams participating in the league.

Social/Intermediate - The intermediate level is geared towards participants who understand the sport but want a fine balance. You can think of it as the "middle of the road" level. Participants that play at this level have a good knowledge of the rules of the game but are still not all that serious. They want to win but won't be sore losers if it doesn't happen. Most participants at this level have played for a few seasons. Referees will be PLAYNOLA staff with previous experience.

Competitive/Advanced - The competitive level is geared towards participants that have played their respective sport for a large portion of their life and enjoys the sheer competition of the sport. You can think of this level as the "professionals" level. Participants at this level should definitely have their game face on and expect a tough game. This is great level for those of you who are in it to win it no matter how good you are! Referees will be a combination of one certified/professional referee and one staff person.

Open - The Open level is available to all levels of play. It is "open" to everyone. It is a combination of skill levels and but may vary depending on the sport.
