With both teams easing into the match and trading steady throws, it stayed close from start to finish. Delta Breeze managed to edge ahead by maintaining tighter control near the pallino, ultimately squeezing out the 12–11 win and earning their spot in the semifinals.
The semifinals brought two strong matchups. On Court 1, top-seeded Boccesaurus Rex battled Delta Breeze. Delta carried momentum from their earlier win, but Rex’s consistency showed why they entered as the #1 seed. With clean placements and solid teamwork, Boccesaurus Rex secured the 14–10 victory to move into the finals. Meanwhile on Court 2, #2 seed Barack Obocce (15) faced #3 seed Bocceballics (12) in a well-balanced contest. Bocceballics kept the pressure on early, but Obocce found their groove and closed out a strong 15–12 win to punch their ticket to the championship match.
The finals came down to the dream matchup: Boccesaurus Rex vs. Barack Obocce. It was a relaxed but competitive atmosphere, with both teams throwing confidently and keeping the crowd engaged. Barack Obocce brought impressive accuracy from the start, consistently landing shots that forced Rex into tougher positions. While Boccesaurus Rex tried to mount a comeback, Obocce stayed in command and sealed the 15–4 victory, pulling an an emphatic finish to a great night on the courts.

The Fall Bocce League wrapped up in dramatic fashion on September 24 at Grant Park, and it was a night full of close battles and familiar rivalries.
The evening began with a quarterfinal match where Delta Breeze outlasted Hands Off My Bocce in a tight contest, pulling away late to secure a 15–11 victory. That set them up for a semifinal clash with top-seeded Bocceballics, who came out strong and never looked back, cruising to a 15–8 win and punching their ticket to the championship. On the other side of the bracket, Boccesaurus Rex and Barack Obocce went back and forth until the very last frame. With precision shooting under pressure, Boccesaurus Rex pulled off a nail-biting 15–13 win to earn their place in the finals.
That championship matchup between Bocceballics and Boccesaurus Rex wasn’t the first time the two teams had squared off this season. Back on August 13, Bocceballics rolled to a dominant 15–7 win, only to see Boccesaurus Rex return the favor a couple of weeks later with a 15–12 victory on September 3. With each team holding a win in the series, the final became the ultimate tiebreaker.
The championship lived up to the hype. Both sides traded points frame after frame, neither allowing the other to pull away. In the end, Bocceballics edged out Boccesaurus Rex 15–14 in a thrilling finish to reclaim bragging rights and capture the league title. Next up, the top seeds entered the fray. #1 Boccesaurus Rex showed why they earned the bye, taking down the Boccelorettes 15-7. Meanwhile, #2 Bocceballics brought the heat and rolled past Boccelicious! with a dominant 15-6 win.
That set the stage for a championship clash between the league’s top two titans — Boccesaurus Rex vs. Bocceballics. But in the finals, it was all Bocceballics, who came out swinging and steamrolled their way to a decisive 15-3 victory to claim the title!
