The "Dodgeholics" are our top team in Division B, beating out "Teal-quila" in the championship by the slimmest of margins, 5-4. Throughout the season these two teams were the top championship contenders, with "Teal-quila" finishing atop the regular season standings and securing the bye to the title game.
All season long "Teal-quila" had "Dodgeholics" number, posting a 3-0 record during the regular season against the eventual champs. But, regular season standings only get you so far, and when it came down to the most important game of the season the "Dodgeholics" were the better team.
Congratulations to "Dodgeholics" on their Division B championship, just a season removed from finishing 2nd in a heart-breaking 5-3 title game loss. This win certainly avenges last season's loss, and we look forward to their title defense next season!
"Team C" has taken our Division A championship, knocking out two tough teams to be crowned league champions. As the #2 they didn't get the bye, but instead knocked out "The D" 5-3 to make it to the league final. There they took on "50 Shades of Greg" and cruised to a 6-2 win, taking down the top team from the regular season with relative ease. Things were close for a little while, but a couple of clutch wins shored up the title.
All season "Team C" knew they were a top team in the division, riding at the top of the standings until an unfortunate forfeit dropped them to second. That was thanks in part to a mini slump they hit during the season, dropping back to back matches.
Despite the tough competition though, they didn't let that slow them down. When push came to shove they were the team to beat all along with their consecutive playoff victories. That includes the most important one of all, the championship. Congratulations to "Team C" on the Division A title!
In a frustrating evening involving missed calls and locked doors. Blue Ponies ride on to victory. The evening started late and cold, with a nailbiting victory over the 8th seed. The standout star was Seth. Bringing the team back from the brink twice and earning a victory in a prolonged (9min) game 3. The rest of the evening went according to plan, rolling through back to back wins with narry a game dropped. Congratulations on the win and way to play.

"Put It In Her Mouth" is our newest Dodgeball champion, rising to the top as the lowest seeded playoff team in a true underdog story.
To say their season started poorly was an understatement as "Put It In Her Mouth" was looking down and out after their 0-3 start. But, an 8-1 win over "Fireballz" awoke the beast, and our champions would go on to close their season out with a 4-1 record in their last 5 games. That stretch was enough for them to squeak into the playoffs, setting a date with the top seed "H.A.M." in the first round of the playoffs.
"H.A.M." had their number all season, winning both meetings between the two by by a combined 11-5 margin. But, true to their underdog status, "Put It In Her Mouth" pulled off the 6-4 upset in the tightly contested, fast-paced affair.
In the championship our heroes took on "Dodgeholics", the #3 seed who also made their way to the final. Midway through the game "Put It In Her Mouth" jumped out to a 4-2 lead, but "Dodgeholics" won the following game to pull within a point. With just a minute and a half left in the match "Dodgeholics" tried to tie the game and send it to overtime. "Put It In Her Mouth" had other ideas though. Instead of overtime they closed the game out like a true champion and didn't give "Dodgeholics" a chance. With the win, it was a 5-3 victory for our new champions! Congratulations!
Fish Tacos came out Wednesday night guns blazing. A new team to Underdog however their dodgeball skills are in no way limited. Using team strategies and great communication they were able to knock out team after team ultimately taking down Questionable Catch in the Championship. Hard fought and well deserved, congrats Fish Tacos!

"Heave It to Beaver" has won the Thursday Dodgeball championship after a thrilling night of playoff games. They entered the night as the top seed, but that didn't mean it was an easy route to victory for them.
In their first matchup of the night our champs took on "Dodgy Style". After falling behind by a couple of games early "Heave It to Beaver" was able to fight back and take a 5-4 win to secure their spot in the playoffs.
The championship game ended up being the polar opposite, with "Heave It to Beaver" in control the entire way. This time they were the ones who jumped out to an early lead and never let it slip away. At one point "Get Hit! Be Hum-ball" closed the gap to one point, but that would be as close as they could get. In the end, they would cruise the the championship.
A great season is in the books for "Heave It to Beaver", closing it out with an undefeated 9-0-1 record. Congratulations, and best of luck next season!
"Nat5" has taken the Thursday Dodgeball championship! They'd finish with a 9-1 record, once again showing their dodgeball dominance. They also finished with a league-high +54 point differential, triple that of any other team. I guess calling them dominant would be an understatement!
In the first round of the playoffs they cruised to an 8-0 win over "Dodgeholics", awaiting the winner of the 2 vs 3 match-up. Eventually that would be "( o )( o )".
In the final "Nat5" got out to an early lead, but "( o )( o )" battled back to make it a 4-3 game heading into the last game. "Nat5" took care of business in the final game though, picking up the win and sealing the championship and the season with a 5-3 victory! Congrats to "Nat5" on another successful season!
We've been here before... Throwsters win a close one against a talented Junkfathers(name shortened) team. The pivotal moment of the match came in the 5th game. Tied at 2 games to 2, Throwsters were down to their final person against 4 opponents. Evan mowed down his opponent and secured the 3-2 lead in the match. We played one more game, but Junkfathers had already given their best shot at the Brave Little Throwsters and went down quickly. Congratulation on another great season Throwsters!!!

Once again "Nat5" has shown us why they are the best of the best, displaying their deft dodgeball skills by taking care of business for another season. They finished the season with a 10-0 record, topping the standings as our lone perfect team.
Throughout the season they didn't have much opposition, with the first game of the season being their most competitive tilt. They still won that game 5-3, but after that "Nat5" found a groove and were unstoppable.
In the playoffs our top team took out the #4 seeded "Thunder Buddies" by the score of 5-1 with relative ease, while #2 "Quack Attack" was upset by "( o ) ( o )" 4-1. That didn't do much for the end result though, as "Nat5" won handily, in a 6-1 championship blowout. Congrats to them on another fantastic season, as they continue to rack up hardware and continue to add to their trophy case!
Everyone new that this was going to be a highly contested match between Off Constantly and Brave Little Throwsters, and the top two teams did not disappoint with a thrilling 4-3 match. Both teams threw their best shot at the other team but Off Constantly just had a few more clutch catches than their opponent. The turning point was in the 6th game. Down two people Off Constantly got a huge catch to turn the tide and ended up forcing an extra game to decide the championship. Brave Little Throwsters came out a little too aggressive in the final game and were down three males after the first throws. Which helped Off Constantly cruise in the match winning game. Congratulations on a much deserved championship Off Constantly!!!

After missing some of theif players throughout the season dut to sickness or travel; the Wizards finally managed to reunite in the playoffs and make a solid run to the championship game. Game one was well needed to shake some of that rust off and in the semifinals they got their groove back. In the championship game their opponentes were coming off of a great emotional high after winning the prior game in OT. So after dropping the first game the Wizards put on a clinic in blocking and targeting key opponents winning the next two games by a generous margin. In the fourth game their opponents managed to put in a ralley, coming back from a four on two disadvantage to force and overtime game. But in that game it was all Grizzled Wizards, eliminating key opponents right off the get-go and hanging on to secure the championship. Congratulations on the win, we'll see you next season!

Having an ace up your sleeve will help you win in poker, saving a mauler till the end will definitely help you win in dodgeball. Dodgeball and Chill is a very athletic team with some of the hardest throwers in the league and some of the craftiest catchers as well. Multiple times throughout their championship run, this team would get surprised by a throw, yet at the last second, they would get their hands up and make a great catch, constantly bringing back in one of their guys who was great at achieving one for one trade-offs with the better players on the opponents team. On top of great catching, Dodgeball and Chill lived up to their name by avoiding throws and then slowing the tempo of the game to allow their players to pick off the opponents one by one. Congratulations on the championship and we look forward to seeing you next season!

"Dodgeholics" is our Dodgeball champion for Division B, in a season where very little went wrong for them. Overall they'd finish 8-1, with their lone loss coming in week two. Besides that, "Dodgeholics" finished the season with seven straight wins, including their nail-biting championship bout.
Throughout the season quite the rivalry formed, as "Dodgeholics" and "Daj Mabal" played a number of close games. "Daj Mabal" was also the only team to hand the "Dodgeholics" a loss this season, so they should get plenty of credit for that.
However it was our eventual champions got the final laugh, defeating "Daj Mabal" twice. That included the championship game, where"Dodgeholics" just barely edged out their rival by the score of 4-3.
Congratulations to "Dodgeholics" on a fantastic season, and we look forward to seeing if they can replicate it again this upcoming season!
"( o ) ( o )" is our Division A Dodgeball champion thanks to a great run at the end of the season. They closed the season on a nice four-game hot streak, and by the end of it they were the league champs. But, entering as the #2 seed, they had to win in the first round to get.
In that first game they took on "Thunder Buddies", but were able to make quick work of the third seeded team, winning 6-2. With the convincing win, you knew they were ready to their championship opponent.
In the championship game "WTF?", the top team through the regular season, wasn't quite up to the challenge either. Looking to win the whole thing after finishing in second place last season, "WTF?" would once again be forced to play second fiddle. "( o ) ( o )" was just better on this night, winning 6-1 in a completely dominant showing.
Congratulations to "( o ) ( o )" on their great play these past few weeks, leading to the title victory!
Everyone knew this 1 vs 2 seed final was going to be close and it sure was. Throwsters won convincingly in the first game, but you can run came back with a vengeance tying it up at 1 game a piece. They continued to trade games thanks to some stellar individual performances from both teams star players. In the end, Throwsters had a little more fire power than you can run and took the championship 4 games to 3. Way to go Brave Little Throwsters!!!!

Ballrats made another impressive run through the playoffs for back to back championships! But this time around they had a tough road ahead of them and barely squeaked by on a couple games. Great play by them and now comes the tougher task.... the three-peat next season!

Hella cereal had to come all the way from top of the bracket through the playoffs just to get into the championship game and they did just that in an impressive matter! One thing that stood out most was the length of their games, they are the marathon dodgeballers! In the end it came down to a tie breaking game for the championship and it all went right for them!
