After finishing the regular season on a 1-3 skid, Space Force was able to turn things around at just the right time, pulling off three wins in a row against opponents they hadn't played all season to win the Softcore championship.
After holding off a game Vicious and Delicious squad in the opening round, the Force dispatched with a Bills team that already had one upset against the two seed and a had a 2nd on their mind.
This brought up a very close back and forth affair between the champs and Q. Q was able to pick up the win by converting on their two point conversions when it counted. A several occasions they converted two pointers to keep the spread at 9 points, to keep it a two possession game and Q at arms length.
On Tuesday the Thunder pulled off a pair of victories to show why they were the #1 seed and pick up another championship.
After picking up their 2nd victory over the Monstars in a week one rematch, Thunder was looking for payback as Kirkland Signature had given them their only loss of the season. Thunder jumped out to a lead late in the 2nd half that they would never relinquish, going up two scores, which proved to be insurmountable.
In a championship game against Brandon's Bald Eagles, Thunder avoided being the 3rd straight upset win for the Eagles. The rain proved to be a factor as the long passing game was held in check for both teams over the course of 40 minutes, but the Thunder was able to squeeze a couple through the raindrops to score 35 points.
After running through the league over the regular season, the Single Dads come into the playoffs as the #1 seed, getting a bye in the 1st round.
They were happy to see Denver Donuts in the second round, seeing that they had lost to them in week six and wanted revenge. The Dads were able to put the Donuts away late to advance in a game that came down to who could make their two point conversions.
In the championship, the Dads were definitely better suited for the weather, as the driving rain and the Dads defense shut down Going Deep to pick up another championship.
Poi Dawgs got a great game from Jacky Thong in the championship game Monday evening at Bobby Morris. After Yea Boi turned the ball over to start the game, Poi Dawgs answered with a score and never looked back. Playing stellar championship football on both sides of the ball, Poi Dawgs played one of the cleanest games you will see in our league as well. Both teams had one early rush penalty combined and that was all for the game.
Yea Boi had some opportunities to score and get back in the game but had multiple drives fall short on 4th and goal and Poi Dawgs took full advantage. Great game for both teams and great season for all. Congratulations Poi Dawgs!
Brandon Bailey of Irregular City Tossers showed up to play championship football on Monday evening and it showed. Striking early and often, Irregular City found themselves ahead and in control for the whole game. Bailey tossed 5 TDs en route to the championship victory over Inbound Hounds.
With that being said, big shout outs to the #8 seeded Inbound Hounds for making it to the championship game after winning the semifinal game with a Hail Mary touchdown on the last play, as well as defeating the top overall seed the week before.
Congratulations to the Irregular City Tossers and thank you to all who came out for another great season!
Two games. One day. One champion. Roustabouts entered the tournament as the three seed and needed three wins to take home another league title. In a challenging back-to-back on championship Sunday, they first dispatched 99 Problems and were well on their way to the title game against Local Sports Team. Both squads have adept offenses, but it was the Roustabouts defense that proved the difference. They stymied the oft-potent LST passing game, holding them to only 30 points; Roustabouts rose to the occasion and took down two top-tier opponents on their way to the crown.

In the final game of the entire season, AKS Engineering and Florist Dragons went toe-to-toe in the closest match up of season. AKS was in their inaugural Underdog season, while Florist Dragons were back to defend their Division 2 crown.
Florist Dragons started out hot, snagging a pick six on the first play of the game. Throughout the first half, the Dragons held the advantage. However, as time wore on, AKS made big plays at the right time to close the gap, and eventually go ahead in the second half.
Both teams were tied at the two minute warning. AKS thrived on the big play, and another monster throw was the difference. A touchdown with 17 seconds left to play put the game out of reach, and AKS took home first place in their inaugural season.
Alcoholics Anonymous has made it a tradition to compete for men's league titles. They were back to defend their crown against league rookies, Pick Six.
Pick Six had a busy day, first battling AMPAP in a semi-final game. They rolled through that game and were in a position to win gold in their first Underdog season. However, AA's experience proved the difference. Pick Six got behind early, and mounted an impressive second-half rally; the hole was too big to dig out of, and AA held on for the 46-41 win.
Congratulations to Rose City Swagger for a hard fought season, and for earning first place in the second division!

Red Shirts made easy work of two very talented opponents this past Sunday, winning by a combined total of 49 points in their two co-ed games. In every facet of the game, they were rock solid, moving the ball with ease and stifling both opponents with suffocating defense. This was the Red Shirts second consecutive championship in the mid-core division and they are starting to build quite the formidable dynasty. Congratulations on a well deserved back to back championship run.

I think I speak for both teams, this was a LONG day. Both of our finalists played in at least 4 games between their co-ed and men's games and both were gassed by the end of their final game. It was a tight back and forth game to start, but Denver Donuts seemed to have a little more left in the tank, as they pulled away in the second half to win 40-18. Congratulations on a well-deserved championship gentleman!

"Past Our Primetime" had taken the Flag Football championship for the second straight season, making them back-to-back champs!
Entering the title game "Past Our Primetime" was definitely the odds on favorite, but an early season loss to their championship opponent "Team B" meant they couldn't let their guard down. That they didn't, instead taking care of business by defeating "Team B" 26-12 thanks to an impressive all-around effort. "Team B" put up quite the fight, but it just wasn't enough to overcome this juggernaut.
Overall "Past Our Primetime" finishes with a 6-1 record, with their lone loss coming to "Team B" in week 1. After that they were nearly unstoppable. That includes their mind-boggling +101 point differential, surpassing even some of our greatest teams.
Congratulations to "Past Our Primetime" on the incredible season! We hope they enjoy the short break and we'll see them again next spring!
AirTnT took home the championship over Strong Legs and Passes. Strong Legs and Passes was unable to get any offense going the entire game and their only points came off of a pick 6. "Defense wins championships" did not work for them and AirTnT's impressive high-powered offense took the day.
Both teams are looking forward to the Winter 2019 season of coed Flag Football.
A special thanks to Mellow Mushroom for sponsoring this league.
Top Golf had been the up n comer for a while now. Each season getting a little better, they bring not only great athleticism but a great competitive spirit from Player 1 through Player 8 on the field. Each player wants so badly to win and, with everybody on the same page, it makes them a very difficult team to beat. Ever since Devan took over this team as QB giving them a mobile threat as well as an aerial one at the QB position, Top Golf had become a contender. After getting their first ever playoff win last week, today they took the final step defeating perennial powers and former champions 99 Problems and Offense Only on the way to the championship. Top Golf has to feel good about going through the best on the way to the title. Congratulations Top Golf! Right now you're the Top Dog of Underdog Football!

Let it be heard here first... the Florist Dragons are the new up-n-comers in Underdog Flag Football. A team that started a few years ago, they consistently continued to get better and might just be ready for the bright lights of the Division 1 playoffs. Using two QBs interchangeably and effectively and with a pass rush that makes life very difficult for the opposing QB, the Florist Dragons steamrolled through the Division 2 playoffs on Sunday at Lewis & Clark. Not having a playoff game closer than a 22 point deficit is about as convincing a championship run as I've ever seen in Underdog. Congrats Florist Dragons! We might be ready to see you guys in Division 1 next season! Just wondering what their name will be: Floors Dragons, Florist Rangoons? Only time will tell.

Ho-hum. Another AA Championship. This is getting ol' hat. AA dominated the men's league playoffs in route to another championship on Sunday at Lewis & Clark. Winning in the semi's 78-30 and the championship 58-39 AA thoroughly dominated the action. Chris Gonzalez was slinging the ball over the field as per usual. Ramone had several INTs all day including a pick 6 late in the championship game that sealed the deal. Jordan was a key contributor on defense as well and Ahmed was crucial in his never-ending working of the refs : ) . Congrats AA! Why don't you give someone else a chance here?

"Past Our Primetime" is our latest Sunday Flag Football champion, taking down their rival "The Goobers" with a final score of 28-20. Overall our champs finished with a 7-1 record to go along with an incredible 107+ point differential this season. Throughout the regular season "Football Fetish" was the only team that could defeat them, though they made their lone win of the season count.
Thanks to a dominant playoff performance the first game on Sunday was almost no contest, with "Past Our Primetime" blowing out "No Mularkey".
On the flipside the championship game was a nail biter! "The Goobers" got off to a good start and shut down the first possession of the game for "Past Our Primetime". They would also score the pick up the game's first score. Yet our champs rose to the occasion, defeating their rival in a slug fest that incorporated all their assets at their disposal in a great show of both offense and defense.
Congratulations to "Past Our Primetime" on an incredible season. This is certainly one for the record books!
Tuesday night, the Thunder capped off a 9-0 season with a 51-13 victory in the championship game. Quarterback Roger Cave led the way for the victors, engineering touchdown drives on all 7 possessions, while keeping his team perfect on many key 4th down conversions. The Thunder also went 6 for 7 on point after touchdowns with a mixture of one and two point attempts. But their team efficiency was really on full display at the end of the first half. Training 13-8, the Thunder methodically marched down the field, getting a key 4th down conversion before scoring a touchdown and a 2 pointer with a little over a minute left in the first half. Then on the next play on defense, they intercepted a pass giving the offense one more opportunity before the break. Then on a third and Gender play with 8 seconds left, Roger found Laurie Reddy on a beautifully run out-route, putting the Thunder up two touchdowns heading to the halftime break, and they did not look back from there. Congratulations to the winners!

Excellent performance from the Gator's. They looked very well polished for their championship game. Especially after having a rough go this season with a 1-5 record. They were able to put it all together offensively and defensively. Great performance especially from James S. He was an absolute ball hawk out there. So much so that he would steal catches from his own teammates. Fabulous performance and well done! Look forward to seeing you next season!

With their 11th title Bloodbath survived probably the most thrilling and hard fought championship game of their career's. This game was and absolute 'slugfest.' Scoring went back and forth and the lead changed several times. But their defense managed to bring it together for the final play and halt their opponent's chance at glory. Congrats on the hard fought and well earned victory. Look forward to seeing you guys next season!

With the absolute stunner, Ruthless came out on top and dethroned the reigning champs. Making gutsy calls at the end of the game, going for 2 for the win instead of the tie. They pulled off and complete shocker. It was an amazing game that was tight all the way through. They stayed within one score throughout just waiting for their chance and that came on the last drive of the game with 35 secs left to go. They marched down field and with 2 seconds left on the clock were able to score a Sports Center like catch to put them within 1. But they were ballsy, one might say Ruthless, and they went for the 2 point conversion. It paid off and they won. Fantastic job you guys!

"Keystone Flashers" is our latest Sunday Flag Football champion, taking down their rival "The Goobers" with a final score of 28-16. "Keystone Flashers" also finished as the only positive point differential this season with an astounding +122.
Thanks to dominant playoff performance their two games on Sunday were almost no contest, with "Keystone Flashers" blowing out the competition.
However, in the second half of the championship game "The Goobers" were able to put up 16 points to challenge the undefeated "Keystone Flashers." Our champs rose to the occasion though, handily defeating their rival in a great show of both offense and defense on their part.
Overall our champs finished with a 7-0 record, overcoming all other competition.
Congratulations to "Keystone Flashers" on an incredible season. Theirs is certainly one for the record books!
Offense Only completed a dream run to the title with some serious late game heroics. A last second score and strong defensive play pushed them through. Each and every player on the squad contributed to make a total team victory.

Blue Chips and F.Y.E. met on the gridiron in the Spring 2018 Coed Screen FF League Championship on July 18. Nothing could be done to stop Blue Chips from reaching their goal of being the Spring 2018 Wednesday night ASL World Champs of Flag Football. They routed F.Y.E. 27-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the Fall 2018 season of Coed Flag Football starting Tuesday 9/11.
Special Thanks to Mellow Mushroom for providing gift cards to first and second place teams in the play-offs.
The "Keystone Flashers" are our top Flag Football team once again, defeating "Team B" in a close game from start to finish. The championship win marks their 2nd in a row.
As the favorite to win the title again this season, "Keystone Flashers" didn't disappoint, finishing with a 7-1 record. Right out of the games they picked up a strong 29-21 win over "Team C" followed by a 34-14 shellacking of "Show Me Your TD's".
In fact, their lone loss of the season came to "Team B" in an underwhelming 32-20 loss. However, that would be the only chink in the armor and from that point on their wouldn't miss a beat. That would include the ultimate revenge, a championship game win over their greatest rival.
Congratulations to "Keystone Flashers" on the back to back titles!
"Keystone Flashers" is our latest Sunday Flag Football champion, taking down the previously undefeated Team D with a final score of 32-12. "Keystone Flasher's" point differential was far and away the best of any team this season (+84).
Thanks to dominant playoff performance, their two games on Sunday were almost no contest, with our champs blowing out the competition. They rose to the occasion, handily defeating their rival in a great show of both offense and defense on their part.
Overall our champs finished with a 5-2 record, overcoming "Team D" who bested them in the regular season not once, but twice. These two previous losses did not stop the "Keystone Flashers" with their last and final win for the league title.
Congratulations to "Keystone Flashers" on an incredible season. Theirs is certainly one for the record books!
In a close defensive battle, the game came down to the final play. At half time we still were at 0-0 thanks to some sold defense from both teams. The offenses found some breathing room in the second half and the game came down to the final play. After a defensive penalty on the final play, the U got one more chance to take the lead with an untimed down. Jarvus Donaldson took the snap rolled to the right and reached ball over just before the defense could pull his flag to win the game 19-18! Congratulations The U!!!!

Even though they had a slow start with many missed opportunities not connecting to their ladies who were running past anyone who covered them. In the second half they had 4 interceptions that would put the game away. Their mental fortitude was something quite amazing to watch. And they are humble beyond belief. This is a class act team and they really did deserve this title. Congrats Rebelz on an amazing season!

Even though Boolin had a rough first half ending it with a pick six for their opponents. They collected themselves and managed to more than double their first half score to win. As the title suggests, they made sure to bend but not break. Fantastic showing Boolin and congrats on the well earned Championship Title!

Business Trip took care of Business this season and treated every game like it was a Business Trip. All season they played well and played together and ended as the highest seeded team from the regular season. Coming into the playoffs as the 1 seed, they expected to come out with the Championship and did just that. The championship game was much closer than they would have liked however, it was neck and neck for the entire game and ended up coming down to a last second rushing TD just before a flag pull that would have sealed a win for their opposition. It was a clutch performance and was a fitting culmination to a well fought game and well fought season for Business Trip.

This season Boolin was one of the rare teams that really relied on their defense to help them wins games. Most games end up being a shoo tout with the winner being decided by the team that can find the end zone every drive other than 1 or 2. Boolin did a terrific job of not letting their opponent's score at that rate and were real ball hawks. Their playoff road to the championship was no different. In the semifinal game they had several acrobatic interceptions that really allowed themselves to separate from their opponents. In the championship game they didn't have as many interceptions but were able to prevent the opposing team from converting on fourth down which allowed them to again separate and hang on for the victory and the championship.

Thunder C. U. Next Tuesday's had a great year all around. Everyone on their roster made big plays throughout out the year and made it so there was nobody the defense could key in. Defensively they were able to come with big plays when they needed and had clutch takeaways. In the championship game it was rhw same recipe they used all year. An interception on the first drive set them up well and they never looked back. They were able to take a lead and then salt the game away. It was an all around great team effort and they were rewarded for it.

Let my People Block were impressive all season. Their mix of athleticism, smarts, and execution made them a tough task for any team. In the championship game itself it was a see saw game. Both sides scoring to take the lead multiple times. In the end it all came down to one drive that seperated the teams and Let Me People Block were able to come up on the right side of that drive. They played well and even though they weren't allowed to block were still able to find a way to be fitting champions.

Crosswired put on a show today using consistent short field passing and safe play to continuously move the ball up-field and put the ball in the endzone. On defense they never gave up the long ball, and benefited from a couple of tipped ball interceptions. Great play from a great team.

Team sweet used their signature hurry-up offense for a great win today catching the defense flat footed time and again for both short solid gains and amazing full field touchdowns. When you score every time on offense all you need is one stop and they managed two tonight with a game sealing interception early in the second half. Congratulations on the win and way to play!

As their name implies this team went balls deep, throwing bomb after bomb in both games and coming up with huge catches and touchdowns when it mattered. QB was able to put the ball where the defender couldn't get to it and the wide receivers were able to run to the ball to make some truly spectacular catches. Congratulations on the win and way to play.

That's Too Deep had a pair of great games today with both contests staying close until the very end when their defense stepped up big forcing late game turnovers in both games to hold on to hard earned leads. The ladies were especially potent on offense today hauling in most of the first down yardage and being a consistent check down force for the quarterback. Congratulations on the win and way to play!

They may look old, and you can hear their joints creak when they run but man these guys have the best routes in the league. Always a man open, always somebody back when the quarterback is under pressure, crisp clean passes and overall outstanding play. Oh and it helped that the youngest guy on the team has magic feet that can turn two yard dumps into forty yard touchdowns. Congratulations on the win and way to play!

Led by stellar QB play, the Wild Huskies are the champs of the Monday night Softcore division. Justin G led the way, throwing a combined 7 TD’s over 2 games in leading his team to the title. They won their first game 38-20, led by 2 huge pick 6’s by Sam H. The Miliman were already reeling after the first one, and the second was just a dagger to their hearts.
After having to sit a game to watch the other semifinal, Justin and his gang went right back to it, blowing out the Dark Knights in a great offensive and defensive effort. The Wild Huskies played tight games all season, and their hard work paid off with a league title.
Talk about complete and utter domination. Kirkland Signature ran through the Monday night league, finishing 7-0 and as the midcore champs. Led by a high powered offense and a tough defense, they have the makings to become a dynasty in the Underdog circles.
After breezing through the regular season, Kirkland Signature found themselves in the championship game on the last day of the season facing a foe they had only beaten by 1 point earlier in the season. They used a stellar defense to frustrate Yeah Boi into making costly mistakes, leading to early points. While their opponent was waiting for them to make similar mistakes, the mistakes never came from the disciplined, talented team. This isn’t their first league title, and it won’t be their last.
That’s why you play the whole season! Oooweee (you get it) were pretty down on themselves after starting out the season 0-3. When the going got tough, however, the boys dusted themselves off and won 4 of their last 5 games, claiming the Men’s division championship.
After crawling their way through a grueling schedule, Mike and the gang brought their A-Game to playoff Monday. They won both the semifinal and championship rather handedly, using their athletic offensive approach coupled with a ferocious defensive strategy, led by big Louie rushing the passer. These guys seem to be hitting their stride at the perfect time, I smell a dynasty brewing.
It was an incredible day for the Hardcore division of the Men’s Monday night football league, as the first two games went into overtime and the third game came down to the last play of the game. The Barnyard Animals, winners of a 2 OT game in the semifinals, were simply too much for Let My People Block, who were playing their third game in a row.
The Barnyard Animals had won close games all year, their 5-1 record leading them to a #3 seed in a stacked division. It took 2 overtimes for them to overcome Jerry’s Kids, then they had to sit and watch as the other games played out. Led by a high-powered offense, the Animals were too much for their opponents, and came through with a few nice defensive plays toward the end of the game. When it was all said and done, all players shook hands on a very well played bracket of football.
In a cold and wet championship conclusion it was Malicious' ability to hang on to the ball which lead to victory. Malicious jumped out to an early lead on a long touchdown and never looked back controling the pace of the game and only turning the ball over once while creating a few of their own.
