Two veteran teams showed they deserved to be in the championship game at Lewis & Clark on Sunday. The game went pretty much as the experts had predicted...a high scoring, back-and-forth affair that saw a fair share of dropped passes in the first half due to Portland notorious liquid sunshine. Both teams cleaned up their act in the second half, with the ladies leading the charge as the "go-to" when a first down was needed the most.
Congrats to This isn't Kickball hard fought Division 1 title...we have a sneaking suspicion this won't be the last time these two teams meet up on championship Sunday at Lewis & Clark.

Two hard fought semi-final games resulted in Show Me Your TD's and Swear to Drunk meeting up for the Division 2 championship game Sunday night. Both teams started the game off a bit slow, with Show Me Your TD's still catching their breath (most notably Sailor) after a great game against The Oilers & Swear to Drunk giving it all they had in an overtime thriller against All Tight Ends.
Show Me Your TD's tightened it up just enough on defense in the 2nd half to erase a 14-16 halftime deficit and propel them to victory as the final whistle blew. Congrats to both teams on a great season and representing Underdog Flag Football in fine fashion.
In a classic battle between two veteran Underdog teams, Sandy's Sad Pandas were crowned Late Fall Co-ed Champions on Sunday afternoon over Malicious by a score of 54-28. Becca L earned player of the game honors as she made plays on both sides of the ball. Late in the first half, Becca intercepted a deflected pass and took it all the way to the end zone for a Pick 6. The play gave the Sad Pandas two score lead and all the momentum. Becca added a Touchdown and several catches on offense to cement her status as the day's biggest star.

Underdog legends Malicious took home the Men's Hardcore Championship on Sunday by defeating Return of Kazaam by a score of 50-28. After a frustrating loss in the co-ed final earlier in the afternoon, the veterans squad entered the playoffs as the #3 seed. They secured their spot in the final by defeating #1 seed Back That Pass Up on a TD with less than 30 seconds left in the game. The championship game would prove to be a much easier task. A key early interception led to a 2 score lead that was never relinquished. Quarterback Reth Bon took home Player of the Game honors, as he lead his team to a score on every possession.

“Golden Bears” are the Flag Football Champions of the Fall ‘21 Season, after defeating “Average Joe’s” 4-3!
“Golden Bears” entered the championship as the #1 seed and the favorites to take home the championship. Their offense was the main reason they finished the season undefeated, but their real MVP during the championship was their defense. It was a close game from start to finish, and no one knew who was going to be crowned the champions of flag football. The “Golden Bears” started the game on fire and scored on their first possession, but “Average Joe’s” came right back and tied it up 1-1. Both teams played lock down defense for the rest of the first half and kept it a very close game, but everything changed in the second half.
The “Golden Bears” came out determined on the offensive end and scored a quick touchdown to give them a lead. It looked like the “Golden Bears” were going to run away with the championship, but “Average Joe’s” pulled off a miracle and scored a last minute touchdown to force overtime! After preventing “Average Joe’s” from scoring on their first possession in overtime, the “Golden Bears” had an opportunity to win the championship. They drew up an amazing short pass play and it worked out to perfection. The “Golden Bears” were able to score on their first possession in overtime and won the championship!
Congratulations to “Golden Bears” on becoming the Flag Football Champions of the Fall ‘21 season and winner of the $50 to Blue Cue!
Roustabouts and Chris & Friends...two titans in the Underdog flag football world who have tasted their fair share of success over the years. Their championship game on Sunday lived up to the hype and then some...a back and forth affair that kept the fans in the stands until the final whistle.
Both teams kept it close throughout the entire game, with Jason of Roustabouts methodically leading his team to scoring drives and Chris of Chris & Friends pulling off his patented long bomb magic when his team needed it the most. Down by six with just a few minutes left on the clock, it seemed all but certain a tie game was on the horizon. Roustabouts defense said not so fast, intercepting a pass with seconds to play & ensuring them of another well deserved flag football championship.
Thanks to both teams for being you & bringing flag football back to Lewis & Clark.
Dark Saber Slashers entered the championship game on Sunday against Past our Prime on a mission...finishing off an impressive undefeated regular season with a fall league championship added to their resume. While Past out Prime was able to keep within striking distance in the first half, Dark Saber Slashers turned it up a notch on both sides of the ball in the second half...precision route running & shutdown secondary defense was on full display for everyone in attendance. As the final whistle blew, the guys from Dark Saber Slashers held their championship wristbands high with a convincing 42-20 victory.
Mission accomplished...congrats on an outstanding fall season!
“Golden Bears” are the Flag Football champions of the Late Summer ‘21 season, after defeating “Goon Squad” 3-2!
The championship came down to the two best teams in the league, and everyone was excited to see who would win! Both of these teams have been to the championship before, so they were no strangers to the pressure. The first half was neck and neck with both teams scoring a pair of touchdowns of their own. The second half was a defensive battle! It looked like the championship was going to be decided in overtime, but during the last minute the “Golden Bears” connected on an incredible passing play and scored a touchdown. “Good Squad” had one last chance to tie the game up, but the “Golden Bears” did not let that happen. The “Golden Bears” miraculous last minute touchdown won them the championship with a score of 3-2!
Congratulations to “Golden Bears” on becoming the Flag Football champions and winner of $50 to Blue Cue!
"Golden Bears" are the Flag Football Champions for the Summer 21' Season, after defeating “Goon Squad” 4-1!
It was an amazing season of Flag Football and the “Golden Bears” were one of our top two teams during the regular season. They had only lost once during the season and it didn’t look like anyone was going to stop them. However, the “Budget Ballerz” were ready to prove everyone wrong and take down the “Golden Bears” in the first round of the playoffs. “Budget Ballerz” came out on fire in the first half scoring two quick touchdowns, but the “Golden Bears” answered with two quick scores of their own. It was a close game, but the “Golden Bears'' defense came out on fire in the second half and held the “Budget Ballerz” to just one score. Their incredible defense in the second half won the game for the “Golden Bears” and helped them advance to the championship with a 6-3 victory!
The finals were set and both teams were ready to see who would be crowned the champions of Flag Football! The 1 seed,“Goon Squad”, and the 2 seed, “Golden Bears”, faced off in a very competitive championship game. The first half was very evenly matched, with both teams only scoring once. But in the second half, the “Golden Bears” started to take over the game. Their defense made great play after great play, and that gave momentum to their offense. The “Golden Bears” went on to score three more touchdowns in the second half, while their defense didn’t allow the “Good Squad” to score at all. It was a great game and both of the teams played very well, but the “Golden Bears” came out on top and won the championship 4-1!
Congratulations to “Golden Bears” on becoming the Flag Football Champions and winners of $50 to Blue Cue! We look forward to seeing if they can go back-to-back champions next season!
Close game with some great plays by both teams as Free Smoke holds on to win the championship.

“Sac Revolution” are the Flag Football Champions of the Late Spring 21’ Season, after defeating “Goon Squad” 19-2!
“Sac Revolution” entered the season with an expectation of winning the championship, but their opponents did not make it easy. The teams out there were talented and have been playing together for many years, so “Sac Revolution” could not afford to make any mistakes. “Sac Revolution” combined amazing teamwork with great talent, and came out of the regular season with an undefeated record as the number 1 seed. The Championship was theirs for the taking!
In the first round of the playoffs “Sac Revolution” was matched up against the “Golden Bears” squad. The “Golden Bears” were a very strong team this season, so “Sac Revolution” had to bring their very best to defeat them. “Sac Revolution” played a perfect game and was able to come out on top 33-13! Things would not get any easier for them, because the “Good Squad” was waiting to take them on in the finals.
The Championship was set and both teams were eager to start the game. “Sac Revolution” won the coin toss and opted to get the ball in the second half. “Goon Squad” marched down the field on their first drive, and looked like they would be the first team to score. But “Sac Revolution'' came up with an incredible interception that was taken back to the house for a touchdown. “Sac Revolution” never looked back from there and would go on to win the Flag Football Championship!
Congratulations to ”Sac Revolution” on becoming the Flag Football Champions and winners of $50 to Blue Cue!

League icons, C.U. Next Thursday have proven themselves worthy once again. They swatted away the last second comeback attempt by the up and coming Tater Tots. It was a real thriller. But with C.U. Next Thursday's experience, they were calm under pressure to prevail as champs! Congrats!

Number one seed "Flex" and Number 2 seed "Rise Up" have met each other in the championship game for Augusta Sports Leagues Mens Flag Football Screen 7s the last 3 seasons in a row (after ASL Coronvirus shut-down) The previous 2 outings had Flex winning by more than 15 points. This game was different in that "Rise Up" scored first and second, with Flex coming back to score 1 touchdown and Rise up to answer with another touchdown in the first half. During the second half Flex scored one touchdown and Rise up scored 3 more touchdowns to end the game at 40-19.
