The Sacramento Mountain Lions finished off their undefeated season Wednesday night with a close 5-3 victory in the semi-finals over Unfazed before turning on an offensive explosion in the championship game against Town Biz. Combining tight pass coverage with an explosive passing attack, the Mountain Lions were all over the field making big plays on offense and coming up with key stops on the defensive side of the ball.
In the semi-final game, the Mountain Lions came out firing, scoring two touchdowns in the early minutes of the game, before Unfazed was able to put up multiple key defensive stops and put up a score of their own before half to cut the lead to 2-1. However, the deep passing attack of the Mountain Lions and a ferocious defensive performance in the second half proved too much to overcome.
In the championship game the Mountain Lions scored two quick touchdowns on back to back possessions but then held to just one more score the rest of the half, as Town Biz put together a good defensive effort. Despite a close 3-1 score at half, the Mountain Lions overwhelmed Town Biz by throwing multiple deep touchdown passes and grabbing two interceptions late to seal the victory and finish the season 10-0.

“Team A” are the Flag Football Champions of the Winter ‘25 Season, after defeating “C U L8r” 6-5!
“Team A” entered the championship as the #1 seed and as the heavy favorite to take home the championship. Their offense was the main reason they finished the season as one of the top teams in the league, but the real MVP during the championship was their defense. It was a close game from start to finish, and no one knew who was going to be crowned the champions of flag football. “Team A” started the game on fire and scored on their first possession but “C U L8r” came right back and tied it up 1-1. Both teams played lock down defense for most of the game and kept it very close but everything changed in the second half. “Team A” came out determined on the offensive end and scored a quick touchdown to take the lead. “C U L8r” played their hearts out but the “Team A” could not be stopped. “C U L8r” was able to a few more times and apply some pressure to “Team A” but nothing could slow them down. The championship was close for most of the game but “Team A'' ran away with it at the end and ended up winning the championship 6-5!
Congratulations to “Team A” on becoming the Flag Football Champions of the Winter ‘25 season!
