Congratulations to Gloves N’ Roses, who finished the season with a spotless record of 5 wins and 0 losses.
Over the course of their five‑game campaign, they posted victories over teams such as the Inglorious Batters (13–12) who finished 2nd in the final standings, and Bats of Fury (8–6), who finished third. They also beat Base Invaders (11–3), Stranger Swings (14–4) and Outfield Outlaws (11–2).
Since this “QUICKIE*5” league determines its champion by regular‑season record rather than a traditional playoff bracket, Gloves N’ Roses secured the title simply by being the top team at season’s end, no final game required. Their resume can't be questioned though, with an undefeated season and beating the two 4-1 teams as well.
Congratulations to Gloves N’ Roses on their well-earned championship, and the rest of our teams on another great season!
The Untouchaballs put together a season that felt steady, confident, and downright dangerous when they were locked in. From early on, it was clear they weren’t just showing up to play—they were showing up to win. They opened with a strong statement in Week 1, shutting out Bier Blessed 5–0 behind a dominant defensive performance and the first of several standout showings from Lance P. As the season rolled on, they kept stacking quality wins, including a gritty 7–5 victory over Scared Hitless and a late-October thriller that ended in a 10–10 draw with Thirst Traps, proving they could battle it out with any lineup in the league.
Some of their best softball came in November, when things really clicked. A commanding 11–4 win over The Rubberduckies put them right back in the hunt for the top seed, fueled by timely hitting and another Player of the Game nod for Lance P. Just one week later, they took down SLUGGERNAUTS 12–8 with Shavon W leading the charge—another sign that this team had contributors everywhere in the lineup and could beat opponents in multiple ways.
All of that momentum led into Position Week, where the No. 1 vs. No. 2 matchup was theirs for the taking. And they didn’t just take it—they ran away with it. Untouchaballs exploded for 18 runs, rolling past Pitch Slappers and leaving zero doubt about who the top team really was. It was the perfect exclamation point on a season full of strong outings, clutch plays, and consistent improvement.
Congratulations to Untouchaballs, your Monday Night Softball champions! A well-earned finish to a well-played season. Let’s see what they bring next time.
Sunday softball at Grant Park brought the heat all season long, but Championship Sunday delivered the real fireworks. The semifinals set the tone early, with both games coming down to grit, clutch hitting, and a little chaos—just the way Sunday softball should be.
In the first semifinal, #4 seed I’D HIT THAT shocked the bracket with a tight 3–2 upset over top-seeded Morale is High. Solid defense and timely swings carried them through as they punched their ticket to the final.
On the other side of the bracket, the #3 MASTERBATTERS went into an absolute slugfest against All About That Base, edging them out 9–8 in a thriller. Big hits, big energy, and big moments... everything you want in a semifinal.
That set the stage for a #3 vs. #4 final, and the MASTERBATTERS didn’t waste their opportunity. They came out firing, controlling the pace and staying locked in at the plate. I’D HIT THAT kept battling, but the MASTERBATTERS' lineup was dialed in, eventually sealing the Championship with a 7–2 win.
A well-earned title after a hard-fought playoff run. Enjoy this one and see you in the Spring!
The Swamp Donkeys have done it again—three straight Friday night championships, this time locking in the title by finishing first in the regular-season standings. Even in a packed double-header format, they remained the team everyone measured themselves against.
The Donkeys opened the season with a tight 5–4 win over Wolf Pack, a game that immediately set the tone for their run. It was a back-and-forth matchup with big defensive stops on both sides, and Mason M earned POTG for keeping Wolf Pack within reach as the Donkeys held strong late.
From there, they rolled into Halloween week and kept the momentum going. They handled Wolf Pack again, 7–3, with Zachary N taking POTG after a standout all-around performance. They followed it up with an 11–1 win over Midtown Mayhem, highlighted by big swings from Grace F, who secured POTG by sparking the offense early and keeping the Donkeys comfortably ahead.
Bring-A-Friend Night brought another pair of convincing wins. They put up 11 runs in a decisive victory over the Baja Blasters, led by another huge night from Grace F as she grabbed her second POTG of the season. The Donkeys then powered through Team B in a 10–0 shutout, with Casey S earning POTG after an impressive defensive outing and key hits that broke the game open.
On the final night of the season, with standings on the line, the Donkeys stayed locked in. They took down Down N Dirty 10–0 and closed the season with another 10–0 win over Guardians, sealing the championship in dominant fashion. Haley L earned the final POTG of the season after stepping up on both sides of the ball and helping the Donkeys finish strong.
Three straight titles, and another season where they proved why they’re the team to beat every Friday night. Huge congratulations to the Swamp Donkeys on an outstanding run and a well-earned championship!
Although the playoffs were unfortunately canceled this season, we are proud to crown Lumber Party as the Thursday Night Softball champions based on their outstanding regular season record. Lumber Party demonstrated skill, teamwork, and consistency throughout the season, earning the best win-loss record in the league.
The team kicked off their campaign with a strong 9-4 victory over Spaghetta Bout It on September 18, with Mitchell G delivering an impressive performance as Player of the Game. They continued to dominate with a commanding 14-4 win against DOCO Diamonds on September 25, featuring an outstanding outing from Samuel N. On October 9, Lumber Party pulled off a tight 8-6 win against Game of Throws, with key contributions from Peter H. One of their toughest matches came on October 30, when they narrowly fell 5-6 to Consistency—a reminder that even champions face challenges. However, Lumber Party quickly bounced back by defeating Hit It and Quit It 13-11 on November 6, with Mitchell G again shining as Player of the Game. They wrapped up their season on November 19 with an 8-5 win over Hit It and Quit It, solidifying their position as league leaders.
Congratulations to Lumber Party for a fantastic season! We also want to thank all the teams for their competitive spirit and dedication. We look forward to seeing everyone back on the field next season for more exciting softball action.
The Tuesday Night Bandits came into playoffs as the #1 seed and the undeniable team to beat — and for good reason. They didn’t just have a strong season… they had a dominant one. The Bandits went undefeated, winning every single game and finishing the regular season with an unbelievable +89 point differential. With numbers like that, it was clear they were entering the postseason locked in and ready to defend their crown for a fourth straight season.
In the semifinals, the Bandits continued their run with an 11–2 win over the #4 seed Team B, showcasing the same explosive offense and airtight defense that carried them all season. Over in the other semifinal, the #2 seed Sac City Rebels secured an 8–2 victory over the #3 seed The Swingers, setting up a 1-versus-2 championship matchup and the Rebels’ shot at taking down the dynasty.
The finals didn’t disappoint. The Rebels pushed hard, keeping the game close and forcing the Bandits to dig in. But in true Bandits fashion, they rose to the moment. With clutch hits, steady fielding, and that trademark collected confidence, they pulled out the 6–4 win — officially securing their FOURTH championship in a row.
An undefeated season, a massive point differential, and another trophy for the shelf… the Tuesday Night Bandits proved once again why they’re the powerhouse of the league. Congratulations to your back-to-back-to-back-to-back champions! 🥇🔥

Ball of Duty emerged victorious as champions Thursday night after a competitive night of playoffs at Howe Park. Starting off the night with a 3-0 upset victory over #1 seeded Amateur Hour, Ball of Duty then proceeded to outlast BatS hit crazy 6-3 in the final and win the championship title. With a play style of timely hitting, relentless defensive effort, and intelligent base running, Ball of Duty displayed a truly well rounded championship performance.
Coming into the night with a 6-2 regular season record, Ball of Duty repeated their week 1 victory over Amateur Hour, who suffered their sole loss of the season in that match up to Ball of Duty, going undefeated outside of the opening week and semi-final losses.
BatS hit Crazy opened the night with a tight 7-6 victory over Fire it Up, pulling out all the stops on offense to just creep ahead and hold on for dear life in the last inning for the victory. However, their bats failed to replicate the performance they had in their semi-final win against Ball of Duty and they came up short of a championship title.

After a forfeit by Nasty Ashley's against the Bandits in the first semi-final game, the action for the night got underway with a match up between Team B and the Sac City Rebels. Team B's hot hitting that pushed across 37 runs in the last 3 games of the regular season extended into the playoffs, as they put up 11 runs on the Rebels on the way to an 11-3 victory. They would come up just short in the championship game against the Bandits, as multiple great defensive plays by the Bandits kept Team B from their recent trend of piling up runs through electric offense.

It was a wire-to-wire kind of season for the Untouchaballs, who capped off their dominant Late Spring ’25 campaign with a 9-1 championship win over Turn Left at Greenland on Monday night. After rolling through the regular season with an 6-1-1 record, the top-seeded squad left no doubt in the playoffs, piling on 17 runs in their semifinal victory before cruising to the title in the final.
Familiar foes awaited them in both rounds. The semifinal featured a rematch with The Rubberduckies, who had held Untouchaballs to an 8-8 tie back in May—their only non-win outside of a single loss all season. But this time around, the bats were blazing, and Untouchaballs stormed to a 17-7 win. In the championship game, they faced Turn Left at Greenland, a team they had already dispatched 9-4 during the regular season. Once again, the offense delivered, and the defense clamped down for a convincing 9-1 finish.
Throughout the season, Untouchaballs were relentless at the plate and locked in on defense. They notched double-digit runs in seven of their ten games, with a notable 11-1 blowout over The A Team to kick things off and another 11-1 shutout against Legal Eagles. Their only hiccup came against Scared Hitless in Week 6, but even that 6-9 stumble didn’t derail the mission.
Now, with the trophy in hand and nothing left to prove, the champs can take a well-earned victory lap. Congratulations on a fun season everyone!
On Thursday night at Howe Park, BALL OF DUTY turned a regular-season loss into championship glory, defeating Amateur Hour 9–2 to seize the Thursday Late Spring '25 Softball title. The win capped off a postseason surge where BALL OF DUTY also dispatched Fire It Up 10–2 in the semifinals, looking sharp from first pitch to final out.
Earlier in the season, BALL OF DUTY had suffered their lone defeat at the hands of Amateur Hour in a 9–6 game back in mid-June. That stumble set the stage for a dramatic rematch under the playoff lights, and this time, BALL OF DUTY didn’t miss. Their bats came alive early, their defense locked in, and they shut down any hopes of a repeat result.
With a 9–1 season record and a championship trophy now in hand, BALL OF DUTY proved they could take a punch and respond in kind. Their road to the title included steady wins, a bit of payback, and a whole lot of teamwork.
Shoutout to BALL OF DUTY for finishing the season with style—and for getting the ultimate revenge when it counted most. Grab that championship photo, crack open a cold one, and enjoy those bragging rights until next season starts! 🏆🍻
