When the dust settled, the #2 seed Sets on the Beach stood atop the standings, earning the championship after a strong playoff run and a hard fought three set victory in the finals.
The postseason started with some unexpected twists. The #5 seed Serves You Right received a quarterfinal victory by forfeit before carrying that momentum into the semifinals. On the other side of the bracket, #2 seed Sets on the Beach took care of business against #3 seed Volley Stealers, advancing to the finals with a convincing semifinal win.

Lockdown D most definitely brought their A game today. The game was a nail biter, back and forth with the points, till the very end, but Lockdown D was the clear dominator. Whether it was their INSANE one handed digs or their WALL of a block on the net, their defense made sure every square inch of the court was protected. You might think it canât get better than that, but their offense was easy to be impressed with. The jousts, backwards hits, and fast ball aces was the true advantage that brought their well-deserved trophy home. All around AMAZING game to watch and cheer on, and I know Lockdown D will have a justified winning smile to bring home with them.

Wednesday nights at Mather Sports Center brought the chaos (the fun kind đ) as the top four teams battled it out for the co-ed beginner volleyball crown. The biggest shake up came right out of the gate, when the #4 seed VOLLEY MAULERS stunned the top seeded Free Ballinâ in straight sets, knocking off the regular season leaders 2-0 in a major upset. On the other side of the bracket, the #2 seed SpikeTown Kings held strong, taking down #3 Hello, Wendy in a competitive three set match to secure their spot in the finals.
That set the stage for a finals matchup between #2 SpikeTown Kings and the red hot #4 VOLLEY MAULERS, who were clearly peaking at the perfect time. The Kings came out firing, taking the first set 21-12 and looking poised to ride that momentum to a title. But the MAULERS had other plans. They clawed their way back in an absolute nail biter second set, edging it out 23-21 to force a decisive third game and completely flip the energy in the gym.
With everything on the line, the final set delivered exactly what youâd want in a championship, tight, intense, and down to the wire. The VOLLEY MAULERS completed their Cinderella run in dramatic fashion, closing it out 21-19 and securing the title after taking down the #1 and #2 seeds back-to-back. From underdogs to champions, the #4 seed proved that seeding means nothing once playoffs hit... and what a run for the VOLLEY MAULERS đđĽ
Thanks everyone for a great season and we can't wait to see everyone out there next season!
Wednesday Night Womenâs Intermediate volleyball at Mather Sports Center brought the perfect mix of grit and high-level play đŞđ as the top four teams battled for the title. The #1 seed Kiss My Ace proved why they held the top spot, grinding out a three set semifinal win over #4 Mission Unblockable. On the other side, #3 Tackle Mode came in ready to shake things up, sweeping past #2 Holy Blockamole! in straight sets to punch their ticket to the finals.
The championship match between #1 Kiss My Ace and #3 Tackle Mode delivered from the very first serve. Tackle Mode came out aggressive and confident, taking the opening set 21-15 and putting the pressure squarely on the top seed. But Kiss My Ace stayed composed, responding in the second set with a strong 21-18 win to even things up and force a decisive third game.
With everything on the line, the final set turned into a battle of nerves and execution. Both teams traded points in a tight race to the finish, but Kiss My Ace found that extra gear when it mattered most, closing it out 21-19 to secure the championship. A hard fought victory for the #1 seed, but major props to Tackle Mode for an incredible run and pushing the finals to the brink đĽđ
Huge thank you to all of our teams for an amazing, competitive season and we loved watching the energy every Wednesday night and canât wait to see you all back out there next season! đ
The Tuesday night sand volleyball playoffs at Turn Verein brought the top five teams together for a stacked postseason, and it did not disappoint. The #4 seed Spike Wazowski kicked things off by knocking out #5 Ball Slappers in straight sets (2â0), earning their spot in the semifinals. Waiting for them was the undefeated #1 seed Can You Dig It, who had been the team to beat all season long. Despite a strong push from Spike Wazowski, the top seed held firm and advanced with a 2â1 win. On the other side of the bracket, the #2 seed Serves You Right battled past #3 Net Positive in another tight three set match (2â1) to secure their place in the finals.
With the two top seeds set for a championship showdown, the energy was high and the competition even higher. Serves You Right came ready to challenge, turning the match into a back and forth battle for points, but Can You Dig It showed exactly why they were undefeated. With strong communication, smart strategy, and consistent play, they managed to pull away in key moments and complete the sweep in two sets, 21â17 and 21â18. Itâs rare to see a team come together so seamlessly, but this group played with heart and chemistry all season long, proving themselves as true champions. Finishing undefeated and capping it off with a dominant playoff run, the #1 seed Can You Dig It left no doubt, they earned every bit of that title đĽđĽ

The 4-seed Ace Slinging Slashers came out swinging in the quarterfinals, taking down 5-seed Do It Lady in straight sets (2-0) and immediately proving they were a team to watch. But the real statement came in the semifinals, going up against the top seeded Smokinâ Aces, the Slashers battled through a tight three set thriller and pulled off the upset 2-1, punching their ticket to the finals with serious momentum. On the other side of the bracket, 3-seed Champagne Servers edged out 2-seed Block Party in another gritty 2-1 match, setting up a finals clash between two lower seeds who caught fire at the perfect time.
By the championship match, the Ace Slinging Slashers were locked in and they didnât let the moment slip. Facing the 3 seed Champagne Servers, the 4 seed stayed composed and controlled from start to finish, winning in straight sets 21-18 and 21-17. Rumor has it a mysterious, big-footed squad was spotted dominating the court; and this time the footage was clear. The Set Squatches stomped through the competition with smooth sets, clutch digs, and spikes loud enough to echo through the forest. Opponents tried to track the legend down, but once the Squatches found their rhythm there was no stopping the stomping. Point by point they took over the court until the final whistle confirmed what everyone had witnessed: the Set Squatches are very real⌠and theyâre your champions. đđ˛đŁ

No one saw it coming, but once Spike Wazowski stepped onto the court, the game only had one direction: straight down. With the vision of a certain green monster and the hitting power of a volleyball villain, Spike Wazowski turned every set into a jump scare for the other team. Blocks? Ignored. Defense? Terrified. The only thing louder than the crowd was the sound of another spike hitting the floor. One eye, zero mercy.Spike Wazowski came to play and left the court looking like a highlight reel. đď¸đĽđ

Some teams play it safeâŚUnprotected Sets clearly did not. With risky plays, bold swings, and absolutely zero hesitation, this squad went all in every rally and somehow made chaos look like a strategy. Sets were flying, spikes were landing, and defenses had no idea what they were about to face next. Opponents tried to contain them, but once Unprotected Sets got rolling there was no stopping the madness at the net. By the final whistle it was clear: taking risks paid off, and Unprotected Sets walked away as champions.

Lurking on the court with legendary energy and unstoppable spirit, the Chewblockas proved they werenât just a funny name; they were a force.
